Aussie Brokers did it again. Luke’s IGA at Buderim was successfully sold to new owners with the assistance of ASB broker Elizabeth Krienke. Even with an obstacle or two, the transaction closed uneventfully with results that were a win for the parties involved.
Luke’s IGA was one of those rare business opportunities that have almost everything you could ever wish for in a convenience store. Located in Queensland’s busy Sunshine Coast hinterland, it completed the new owners’ lifestyle. The excellent branding, prime location and constant customer flow also provide truly attractive turnover rates.
The store was put up for sale in May of last year. It didn’t take long before the owners found buyers they were comfortable with. This is important as the buyers and sellers’ interaction with each other can have a direct effect on the outcome of the business sale.
The sales process was quick even with rigorous finance regulations required by the financial institution. All hurdles were easily traversed by well-prepared sellers and enthusiastic buyers. The business sale transaction was able to proceed and close successfully.
Training and handover met no setbacks, while stocktake went smoothly. Considering the excellent potential of Luke’s IGA, there is little doubt that with enough care, it will become a huge asset for its new owners.
